Is Your Business Accessible to All ?

With the passage of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) in 1990, there are now both Federal and State codes that require all parking lot pavement and access routs to adjacent buildings be in compliance. J&S professionals can develop turn key solutions to meet the various specification of any center, complex, office or restaurant.

Many parking lots are currently out of ADA Compliance for many reasons. J&S understands, and keeps up on the ever changing rules and regulations.

From parking stall leveling, Ramps, Pedestrian Routes, Paths of Travel, Van Acess, Signage, Striping, Concrete, Curb Ramps, Sidewalks, Hand Rails & Entrance signage... we provide an evaluation & estimate.

Need a new parking lot or new driveway?

J&S Asphalt can grade, install base rock and new paving to your commercial property or residence.

For existing parking lots, please refer to our Overlay and/or Patching Services.

Over time, asphalt can become cracked and pot-holed. Using only crack fill may not necessarily be enough to fix this problem and, Repaving/Overlay may be an overkill. In these types of situations, we saw-cut and remove old damaged asphalt and replace with a min. of 3” of new asphalt patching.

Over time, cracks will appear in any asphalt surface due to repeated cycles of expansion and contraction. Crack filler or crack sealant can be used to decrease the appearance and harmful erosion these cracks can cause.

Crack sealants can be applied hot or cold. They are composed of a mixture of materials that form an adhesive bond capable of successfully sealing joints and cracks in asphalt pavement.

Cracks that can be effectively repaired using crack filler are typically 3/4 of an inch or less. The cracks are first air blown and cleaned to remove all dirt and debris prior to crack filler application.

Asphalt overlays and repairing damage to exisitng pavement by applying a new layer of asphalt over the old. There are two main types of overlay: Petro-Mat and Boni-Fiber.
